| What makes an emulator user-friendly?

It's not about the emulator, it's about the front end.
Like I said in a previous post, I'd really like to see a front end which is specifically tuned to run [games]. One click to play Penguin Adventure. Another click to play Hard Boiled... without the trouble of inserting discs or rompacks. Of course one would have to standarize disc images and rom images, i.e. one name for each, just like in mame.
BTW, which msx emu is capable of running zipped dsk or rom images?

if openMSX doesn't do it yet, it would be somewhat trivial to add it.. zlib rules  |
