well for practical reasons, an msx can't emulate 640k mem in the opl4 when it has only 128k, a pc can!

Seems a bit overkill to buy a PC that can when you can just add 512K for a couple of euros

I wouldn't buy a pc for that, I have one already. So that's not an arguement for 99.99% of the users.

Emulating an OPL4 with 18 FM channels, 24 wave channels in stereo is quite a hefty task for the majority of PC's people have at home. Only a relatively small percentage of PC users has anything faster than 300 MHz.

Getting off-topic though...

Well, try it! It runs almost perfectly on openMSX. There are some problems caused by incorrect emulation of the TurboR's FDC and some minor problems with the scrolling. But it's almost perfect otherwise
