The turbo-R BASIC games looks almost impossible to me, how can the standard interpreted BASIC manage so many software sprites?, and the multidirectional scroll?, I know that there're scroll registers in the 9958; but how can process so quickly the map info and draw a non tiled edge (looks screen 5, isn't it?) so fast?.

Unveliebable...

Alteread Beast, for those who wont register

Wow! Another version of Altered Beast for MSX! And a bit better than the ZX Spectrum port!

MSXdev'08 and Passion MSX2 Contest coders: we need "the definitive" version of this all time classic!!!

That gunsmoke really looks like a good game.

@Slotman: What are you going to do with the conversions? Will they be available on your site or will they be released like the other conversions?

SLotman, if possible, could you also make a version which is not 'boosted', so one which would look identical to the original MSX version of the games you are reconverting? Then I could take screenshots for Generation MSX of it.

Is the ROM image of Altered Beast (Clover) available somewhere?

Gunsmoke demands a remake. I love the western theme.

First -> possible 3-colored MSX2 sprites
Second -> gfx9000 ???

p.s. gfx are 'based' on the NES version

I totally agree!!

And I think porting the NES version should be the best option. It's even more playable than the original arcade

Already did
The only game I made changes were "The Three Dragon Story" - but if you hold SELECT while it loads, it goes normally.
