You can look on ebay, they are not cheap but still listed.

As for the casing...I have plenty of cart's,mostly japanese which I never play and never will, so I'll reuse them...

Nooooooooo, don't butcher existing carts... You can easily get casings in a different way. E.g. Sunrise had the Koei casings for Manbow 2 and Matra also has casings. Just ask and you can probably buy a lot. Probably also easier (and cheaper) but above all more ethic than butchering classic games...

favoritism perhaps?? I dont know...
all I know...no response to my requests on purchasing their products...
I'm sure they're busy people...but I'm not a fan of waiting
Wasn't planning on developing for the gfx9000 anytime soon anyway....
maybe not at all ...the V9958+turbo-R will do fine...

but let us not turn this topic into a sunrise+waiting-topic...as there are plenty of those already...

and it's not that important...

what is important is that JIPE RULEZ!! He provided me with all the info I need to start building the carts...so I'm happy !

thanx again Jipe...(and ofcourse thanks to all of you that responded also..)

SunRise is serving community with excellent products for at least the past 13 years. I bought IDE+COM and CF adapter directly. I also bought GFX9000 and MoonSound second hand. All work great.

It may take a while to get the communication going, and shipping may also take a lot of time. I hear a lot of complains from people about long waiting time, but everyone is getting their orders.

I actually am amazed at their perseverance and goodwill towards us, with so much whining and complaining.

I was hoping to see some photos of casing from SunRise. If it's a decent quality product and the price is less then second hand game, then yes, it would be a better option.

As of "butchering". Why do you assume anyone is going to butcher anything? The whole idea of looking for reusable cases is to take out original PCB, put it in the static bag in storage, and use the case with new PCB.

Although, now that you mentioned it, it could be a nice goal for some freaky person. Work hard, earn a lot of money, buy all available classic MSX games and hardware, and destroy them, so that the few remaining items will go up in price

Goodwill?? I'm sure they're getting good money for the products..
And the wait would not be a problem if they would at least let you know they're working on it...
it's not "nice" to treat people this way. And as there are many many posts on this subject I think ...blabla bla..

As I said...dont really want to turn this topic into a sunrise+waiting issue...I just wanted to state that I will not try and contact them again ... for anything cause It's not working for me.
I'll get it another way...

RyJuZo, you say you don't want to turn this topic in a Sunrise+waiting issue... Then don't start about it in the first place. You know what happens if you do. It becomes an endless discussion...

Just mail him directly, his mail address is well known (see also user 'sunrise' on this forum, his contact info is in his profile). They had brand new Koei cartridges (with 2 screws) for Manbow 2. Top quality.
Matra: I guess it's a matter of Googling. Or ask via Bitwise.

The cartridges produced by Sunrise and me doesn't need two screws to close. But indeed they have an excellent quality, since they are made with a professional plastic injection mold of steel.

If someone has the right skills, then this machine is maybe the right choice to make your own cartridges.
This robot itself is easy to make.
