Many years ago i played regurarly a tank (simulation) game. I remember it's a game which runs on a MSX(1) and has some sort of 3D view. If i remember well it can also be played with 2 players. Sounds familiar? Please tell me the name  |

No, it's not Arctic Fox.... that's more a simulator than the the ....-game is.

in generation-msx there is tank game which may be what you want, can´t remember it´s name thought.
You drive in wire-frame tunnel and tank is viewed from behind. Does it sound familiar?
I have seen it many times in generation-msx and now I have forgotten it´s name...  |

Yesterday I looked at every screenshot Generation MSX has, but the game I search for has no screenshot on Generation MSX. If I remember well the steering was in steps of 90 degrees. So you could go in just 4 directions.

just searched year 1984 from generation-msx it wasn´t there, so it´s either in 1983 or 1985....

The main colors used in the game are red and green. Maybe this is a good hint....

I'm deeply ashamed, but I gave a wrong clue! The game is not in 3D, but uses a split screen. I found it again The game is Field Master v.1.0
It's a 2 player game and the goal is to destroy eachother's tanks. The map is quite large. I have to investigate if this game is mentioned on the Generation MSX site.... if not I'll send the information
Thank you MäSäXi for your extensive search and again sorry for giving the wrong clue, but please understand it's almost 20 years ago when I played it for the last time. It gives great pleasure to play it again after this long period. |
