Someone in the east of the Netherlands is working on translations too and she too is working on FF1 translation IIRC. I do think Guyver will have a better chance on translating it even though it's a quite good effort to know people are working on translations.

She? That's interesting... Why are you so mysterious, just tell us who the translator is!
As you know, I'm currently busy with different projects so if someone else is doing it, that's fine by me... It would be a waste to do double work though.

Hummmm, "she". Do you mean that a girl is translating MSX's Final Fantasy to english? Wow, that's amazing, that is the kind of girlfriend that I want xDD

Sasami lives in the north-eastern part of the Netherlands, but I don't think she's the one translating. Okei, another MSX chick , lives in Japan so euhm... tell us who she is, BiFi!!

Apart from the typical games everybody wants to see translated, I'd like these translations:

-Madoumonogatari 1 2 3
-XZR 2

What do you think about them??

Another translation I forgot to write on my last post...

Would it be too difficult to translate Fray for Turbo R?? maybe the scripts are the same from the the MSX2 version... It would be great, because the Turbo R version it's a really better one!!

It would be a cool thing to see Fray TurboR translated indeed. How about creating new samples. I vote for Sasami playing the role of Fray

Moon Light Saga!!!!!!!!!!
Moon Light Saga!!!!!!!!!!
Moon Light Saga!!!!!!!!!!

http://www2.justnet.ne.jp/~ealia/game/

Pros:
-Excellent graphics
-Excellent sound
-Quite new MSX game (1996?)
-If I remember well it makes use of the PCM sound
-Detects external memory expansions for fast loading

Contras:
-MSXturboR only (is this really a contra?...)

I already announced before... Moonlight Saga: I have the source code, I have most of the translation. All I need is a coder who can adapt the game so that it actually works.

It is not only a question of coder. The last time I contacted Japan, the source (Ikeda) made clear that permission must be get first to do it. I asked for distribution even in Japanese, because translated or not it is still for me the most impressive game in Japan.
Manuel Pazos wrote a description in a fabulous article in Hnostar Magazine.
Ivan would you be able to translate that article?
