my nms 8245 had an extra power out for a second discdrive external.
i removed it at the moment.
it was parrallel connected to the first power supply 2 the internal discdrive.
als this drive did not had a 7805 between the power for the flikkering on the screen.
i have but in the 7805 for the first drive.
but my question is. can the power supply of the 8245 handle powering 2 discdrives. is the supply strong enough.
or can i take it from somewhere else on the board, to be sure.

if the second drive is a modern PC drive with only 5V supply and low power you can connect it
but if you connect slot expander and many cartridge the power supply of 8245 is not strong

thats what i was afraid of.
indead i am assuming it in full funktion use.
i will use a seperated power supply.
