oh and I can seem to find the YRW801.ROM. Does anybody know where to find it or do I need it to rip from my own moonsound cartridge?

Explore the NLMSX site (also a great emulator !)

OpenMSX is far to compilcated for me right now. I like plug and play If you think linux is nice, great, but I am not going to do anything with it... the moment you get it running with a disk in A: and windows XP I'll take a look at it.

OK, I still think it's a bit overcomplicated with these machines and all (I made a msx2 and a turbor machine, but why using xml? What a crap.) but it works Moonsound emulation is nice, but the 4 operator FM voices are nowhere near to the real thing yet.
Anyway openmsx is the first choice msx emulator on my pc now. A debugger (like the one in no$msx) would be nice, though.

complicatedness and debugger will (and partially are) taken care of by the openMSX Catapult.
XML is not crap, it's the future It's being/gonna be used everywhere!

You're very welcome, on behalf of all developers. If you really want to help beta testing: talk to us on #openMSX IRC channel on irc.freenode.net, or mail to penmsx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net.'>openmsx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net. Thanks!

ok, i love it! it's a little bit slower and music sometimes goes a bit too slow. but for those who have no GL abillity (or weak GL, like me ) the CLI command "set scaler" RULES! i love the 2xSaI scaler and it goed pretty fast too. the hq??? (what was it?) is definatly the slowest among the scalers, but hte 2xSaI looks very good and goes smooth enough!

a very nice version, im already waiting for the next one, i hope it's a bit faster than this version.
