And how about the 2op/4op FM ? Does that sound identical to the original? (since the fmpac emulation doesn't 100% !)

It sounds good to me, but you are a far better judge than I am.

About MSX emulation on PC-Hardware. That is what we are talking about.
If you could emulate an entire MSX all versions on a PC what would be the
fun in using it. Regard the MSX as hard and software as a trainer. Modern computers
like your PC or other modern equipment will do the job much better if you are interested
in those things. The MSX hardware still functions after all these years including add-on's.
If the commercial guys wanted you to have MSX3 they would have given you it. If as this emulation would evolve into a new MSX standard who will keep track of the standardization of this MSX as it was meant to be. See my point. You become trapped in PC software, hardware cycle as the market were you want to be and if I am not wrong this is against the principle of the current MSX user.

I think you're quite right, tweaker. However, what I was trying to say is that creating hardware in an emulator might be a cheap way of developing hardware.

And indeed, it's amazing all those MSX computers and their add-ons still work
