Hey, those guys are really serious about those insults. It's really better not to mess with that... seriously.
Anyway, if that's the point, I have a home-made cartridge with several konami games on it. Rare piece!

Definately not the most common cartridges, but "Mega RARE" ? Really?
I agree it is pretty much completely useless, for most of the people and that makes it propably rare, but I think even MSX MP3 cartridge or ethernet contoller cartridge is more rare...
... and if the spring mechanism is considered unique feature, then I must have plenty of unique cartridges.  |

So do I! Seeing as the Qur'an alone contains around 650 different texts.
There are more than 100 sura's (chapters) which are divided in over 6000 aya's (verses/subchapters) and it contains almost 2000 unique words.
In paper form it's so heavy you could almost smack a sheep to death with it.
So, if this ROM contains the ENTIRE Qur'an, either they already started transferring it in the 1970's or so with a development team the size of a city, OR we're talking about some EXTREMELY motivated and fanatic guys.

I guess the cartridge uses support for Arabic script that is only found in Arabian MSX machines. Remember that the Koran is in Arabic.
Maybe it is possible to make a cartridge with the support for the Arabic script needed by this cartridge. |

@mods: Can you delete yum's post. If statements like that keeps showing up on MRC, I won't be able to read it at work because of traffic scanners (which more or less means quit using MRC).
It doesn't matter if it wasn't meant to be an insult, it a terrible bad joke and can easily be misinterpreted.

When I saw "... Green MSX ..." in the name of this topic, I said to myself - "oh, no ! we already have BlueMSX and RedMSX, we don't need more colors !"
But... sometimes in my dreams I see: 24:00 at night, Friday 13th, and The Black MSX Computer starts booting with the black MSX logo... The Black Programmer types his black program in Black MSX Basic, with black font on a black background, and The Black MSX Computer responds him with "Syntax error... Syntax error... Syntax Error" ! What a black horror ! |

I have that cart. It won't work with European MSXs because it tries to find the ROM inside MSX before running. Therefore you can put that arabic ROM in a MegaFlash and the cart will boot even in a turboR (I've tested it myself).
Martos dumped this cart time ago and made the decrypter of the ROM.
About the price... afaik it was 100US$ when it was for sale back then. Right now I have no clue, I had to pay around 50 euros even if it was a present (because the package was insured and DHL wanted to get some money ).
