Do you need a FDD interface cartridge or a slot expander?

I have mini slot expander for sale if you need that. It allows you to plugin 4 cartridges into 1 slot.

My sales thread has a picture of the slot expander I'm selling: http://www.msx.org/forumtopic9751.html

Since your in the USA I will sell you mine for $105 shipped. The 2 yellow wires are to be connect to an external +5v power source. I use an 110w arcade power supply but an ordinary PC ATX power supply would do fine. If you wish to power the slot expander with the internal power of your MSX, I can remove the yellow wires and re-solder the jumper on the pcb that will enable it.

I also have cartridges and cassette games that will run on your MSX1 computer too if your interested. I still have Vaxol, a nice Space Harrier type game, and Cross Blaim which is an Sci-Fi adventure w/ some RPG elements.

bluesmexican is talking about a Yamaha CX5M, which doesn't have a normal MSX cartridge connector on the back, but some special proprietary (male) connector. The Single Cartridge Adapter fixes this, as it converts this connector to a normal (femaile) cartridge slot connector.

However, he could plug in the slot expander in the top slot, of course, but that might not be very comfortable if you use a slot expander without a cable (i.e. the mini slot expander will not be comfy).
