Still NOBODY who remembers how to SAVE / LOAD a game in 'OUTER LIMITS' ??

I do. You go to the "HQ", it's on the first floor, where the game also begins (X:1, Y:1).
Enter the door, and take a step eastwards.

Now you'll enter HQ. You get some options.
One of them is the infirmary, another is the weapon shop, the last one is the exit, but you must select the first option (if my memory serves me right).

You will meet a man in a blue shirt, this is where you can save (on a separate user disk).

How you get to the second floor:
First bump into the stairs you mentioned.
Go a few steps back eastwards, until you see a passage at the north.
Enter the passage, you get a different tune and some text.
Return to the passage, you will get some pictures and then encounter a monster.
Slay the monster, again you get some pictures, you get back automatically to HQ and you can enter the next floor.
Have fun!

Thnx Demonseed!

Already found out myself how to get to the 2nd floor... Somebody translated some of the japanese txt for me, so some things became more clear to me.

You we're right about the guy in blue, that's idd the first option (The Boss), I'm going to try to find out how to save / load here, do you remember if this guy also shows up at the 2nd level or do you have to go all the way back??

Did you manage to find out if the 2nd disc the game asks for is idd the Peach Up #5 B disk??

You're welcome.

If someone would translate the entire game, I'd be very happy.
Oh Rikusu-san, does it sound like I'm desperately knocking on your door again?

Choose the first option (I think) when you meet him.
You get 2 options. The game asks if you really want to save.
The one with 2 characters is "Yes".
The one with 3 characters is "No".
Replace the gamedisk with the userdisk and select "Yes". (well duh )

Yes it is.

I saw some remarks here about the game being on 4 disks, but as far as I've seen, the game's very end is on disk 2.
It's not a really big game, you know. Too bad, I loved it.

By the way... there's a spanish translation of this game, made by Teo Lopez (who translated Princess Maker, Golvellius 2, etc...). I don't know if he made an english translation too...

Well, I actually was the one who Mafcase was referring to

But ehrm... Who knows I'm somewhat busy with other projects now, but who knows what happens if I'd find some time
