now, it would be nice if those who bought the first disk get the second chapter for half the price. fair enough since we waited long enough for a sequal of this excellent rpg.

To Darq: This not possible since the first disk had to be changed very drastic.
But that you will find out after we publish the new details and requirements.
Even I need some more info as regards some extra costs etc.

To Wolf : approx 110 copies

Peter Meulendijks, Wolf_ and some others (including yours truly) were in the process of reviving the game, some time ago. I guess it has been almost a year already. Peter M would stick to the code, improving the game engine, adding graphics, adding new game concepts and developing the story line, I would be area editor and dear Wofl_ would be music composer for this project. Umax even launched a forum and web platform [see this]. The project was stalled for some reason unknown, but in retrospect I can see why: Peter is a busy guy with an ever growing family, I am a busy guy and of course Wolf_ too is a busy guy. Perhaps that's the reason. Added to this comes the lack of making appointments/agreements and deadlines, so I guess it's either a matter of time, or a matter of MORE time.

Sometimes I wonder if opensourcing something like this could help progress on such big games.
If I look at the Ruby community, I've seen quite some abandoned projects being revived/taken over by others after they've been open sourced through things like github.
If you could have some sort of source/version control manager for msx, people could perhaps follow the progress being made in such extensive projects and perhaps chime in at aspects they are good at, and perhaps even learn from the progress being made. And if someone leaves a project, it might even be easier for someone else to take over, since he (or she of course!) can follow what progress was made and how things were done.

I feel that with these big projects in these times where 'free time' is a scarce thing, management of such a project might be a bit too much overhead and perhaps too much pressure.

Just my 2 cents.
