Why did you think it unsatisfying, Vampier?

After all, you do get a little kiss after spending half a tedious hour or so kicking that Varalys guy's ass!

However, the music (...) of the game must've killed a fair share of my braincells back then. Jeez'

Actually, I always hated Hydlide 3...

A lot of Japanese contribute if there is Japanese BBS in MSX.org.
The Japanese wants the space that can be written in Japanese.

Buhi, did you mean to say you want jp.msx.org, with news, a forum, etc.?

What I'm hinting at: We'd have no problem setting up a jp.msx.org, but only when there are at least 2..3 regular (= daily), motivated and constant translators (english to jp)/newshunters (translate jp news to english) willing to be part of the crew. If you can find them, I think snout will be all too happy to set things up..

A japanese forum might actualy be a good idea. This way it might attract more users to MRC.

Indeed, I like it too, this way the information could flow a lot easier between both communities.

A Japanese forum would be GREAT! And NO, there is no need for immediate translation. Just let them Japanese MSX users talk with each other using the msx.org-domain. Very important!!

Thank you for your messages, Buhi!

Plus, it's much easier to get a potential translator once you get some Japanese activity on the forum.

Buhi, as a maintainer of Russian section I can tell you which steps you should pass to create a new section on MRC:

1) first of all, if you (or anybody else) are going to maintain a new MRC section, you should decide whether you are really going to maintain it over the years. You can count only on yourself and your free time.
You won't be paid for this, but once you started - you cannot just quit without finding someone to replace you.
If you are ready for such a responsibility - the rest is easy.

2) Contact site admins to get MRC interface strings, translate them. This will take 2-5 working days.

3) Ask admins to establish a beta site. After some fixing iterations you will feel it's almost ready for opening

4) Translate some tens of newsposts - visitors can't come to an empty site.
Find people that will help you and manage them. It's not an easy task to make volunteers create high quality translations !

5) Very important - advertise the new site everywhere you can.

6) A great day - site opening ! Keep it going, translate more news and articles every day.

>We want space that can input a Japanese character.

You already can use Japanese characters anywhere in MRC forums.
Here you are: 日本語 / にほんご

That's not to say you *should* use Japanese in the English, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian sections though.
