The TS add on recalls me the old Mockingboard (6ch double PSG chip) for the Apple 2

TS also can recalls Sam Coupe, ZX-compatible computer with SAA1099. This chip almost 2xAY, but program model is different, so it not compatible with software for AY. Two SAA1099 (12 PSG channels) also used into first Creative soundcard for PC - C/MS (Game Blaster).

Concerning TFM I remember that I read somewhere on the net that there was an equivalent of a double YM2203 chip but I can't remember the series chip neither the site where I could read this, actually this YMxxxx could play 6 FM channels + 6 PSG channels. Have you heard about it ?

YM2203 is first chip of the OPN synths line. That line also contains YM2608 (OPNA), YM2610 (OPNB), YM2612 (OPN2), YM3438 (OPN2C). AFAIK, only OPN2 has 6 FM channels, but none of this two chips (2612, 3438) has 6 SSG channels (2612 does not have SSG part at all).

Now I have a question for those who are familiar with FM chips, is there an FM chip capable of 6 operators 16 channels like the old one used in DX7 synth ? Because all FM chips I could see are limited to 4 op.

AFAIK, DX7 does not have one-chip synth, it uses YM21280 and YM21290; and later Yamaha develop YMxxxx line as more or less cheap one-chip solutions for synths, computers and game systems. I don't know any IC with 6-op FM synth.

And a last question, would it be possible to make a TS/TFM card for Atari Falcon030 according to you, (the F030 has a cartridge port) ?

It possible for any computer, but developing of schematic is needed, and just for one unit of device it will be very irrational. And also software problem will be.TS/TFM can be easily used on systems, which has real AY/YM chip (especially if it placed in IC socket), and has clock ~1.75MHz or 3.5MHz (for YM2149) on it.

these are the same songs.. but this is about SOUND.. maybe a next upgrade?
Game is: Misty Blue (unknown for me)
http://www.xs4all.nl/~jhnv/YM2413OPLL.mp3
http://www.xs4all.nl/~jhnv/YM2608OPNA.mp3

Misty Blue was at the top of the 2007 rankings on EGG MUSIC http://www.amusement-center.com/project/emusic/news.php?itemid=183

Of course, I recognized this song. But now I'm curious, where did the YM2413 version come from? Was there another version of the game that used it?

No, for reasons of potential misuse. Then again, if everyone fills in his email in his profile (and make it public), then one can simply email the person.

Any idea if there are OPLL versions of the other songs from the game? EGG has only the OPNA (which is very good BTW).
