Okay, here's the deal. I have an OCM at home for a few months to play with. My only problem is: I only have the hardware (OCM+adapter) but no software whatsoever. Is there a guide for dumb people like me who only know "normal" MSX systems? Can I, for example, insert my Sunrise IDE interface and start using it. I would like some info before I fire this little blue bastard up for the first time.

By the way, I promised not to temper with the OCM configuration so I can only use the "out of the box" configuration.

Hi Robert. I bought mine weeks ago and I don't know if external IDE or SCSI controlers work fine with OCM. My recommendation is to buy a cheap SD card (2Gb about 10 euros). Copy MSX-DOS2 on it and that's it. At MSX BANZAI you can find a guide.

Make sure you insert SD card slowly, so you won't set your OCM on fire.

@ D-Tail: No, didn't recognize you. Must be the beer Why didn't you wave or something!!!!!!!!

P.S. There is indeed a little chance that I have Rikusu's OCM at home. But this is not confirmed officially ofcourse

@ Rikusu: A certain OCM is a little charred by some fire it caught this weekend. Don't know why it happened, but the good news is that I am okay...

No, must be the beer. I vaguely remember such an event but I know a lot of people from "het Burgerweeshuis" and maybe I have mistaken my very dear friend D-Tail with such a drug addict.
