In Nijmegen, Bas had a Sanyo MFD-001 floppy disk system (controller, plus box with 5.25" drive) for sale. I dumped its ROM (yay) to emulate it, but I forgot to check which FDC chip is used...
Who can help?? (If YOU bought it, let me know!)
I have a Sanyo MFD-001 but no cartridge with it
I use it whith a Philips controler but I have somme problème with disk size
The drive is a 180ko and the controller format 360ko
I don't know if it's the original drive
Could you tell me the original size (if you know) and send me the rom then I can burn it in my Philips controler
Thancks in advance
Fab: that will only work if the FDC of the MFD-001 is the same as of the VY-0010.... And that's exactly what I wanted to know
If you send me the rom file, i can take a look at the code to see which FDC is used..
zeilemaker54 (at) zonnet.nl
i have one at home but this is not mine
the FDC is a MB8877A of Fujitsu compatible with FD 1793-02
Jipe, OK, thanks, that's all I wanted to know
@zeilemaker: thanks, but it seems Jipe already knows
Hmm, when emulating it, it seems to hang up... (the MSX)... any idea?
(I can provide a configuration file for openMSX to try it out yourself)
It is now in !!!
Want to see an rom of an sram
msxholder: ah, you bought it?
Does it work?
You could verify whether the interface cartridge contains a Fujitsu MB8877A FDC chip....
You are Right. The Victor hc90-hc95 use the MB8877 even so the Sanyo does !
