Right? :P
By Google
well, there's a new very small handheld made by gamepark,
called the wiz. That should run msx emu's that the gp2x used
as well.
What's about Dingoo ? It's going to be more popular and way cheaper console.
This one use real carts, others use emulation(*).
Wiz is too expensive.
Pandora is way too expensive.
Dingoo is cheaper, but...
Hacked PSP is "BY FAR" the best option: Sony Quality!
(*) This device use a chip called NESONACHIP, which is hardware emulation, like One Chip MSX!
OK, beat me community!
I owned a PSP and I've just ordered a Dingoo A-320 and I'm actually waiting to receive it, so I cannot speak about its quality (it's cheap chinese stuff after all) but I've read a lot of very good reports on many internet websites about this device. And you can buy one for about 75-80 Euros, that's less than half the price of a PSP here where I live.
The only major problem that is actually affecting the Dingoo is AFAIK the impossibility of pressing the Y button and the B button together (and it's not yet clear if this is a fault in the actual firmware of the device, or a fault in the circuit board of the Dingoo)
Having OpenMSX on the Dingoo A-320 would be a dream come true...
if anybody else is willing to spend some money, we could raise some money, buy one and give it to Manuel...
If you want to see the Dingoo A-320 in action, you can have a look at this video-review on YouTube:

AFAIK the impossibility of pressing the Y button and the B button together
But that's really horrible! Reminds me PeeCee's keyboard...
An used hackable PSP maybe cost more, but you can also use it as a... PSP!

Near every emulator for GP2X is better that any emulator on PSP. And WIZ being an open 3D modern hardware is not so expensive. Well, it's a new console, just launched, a new modern and powerful linux open source console. And I use also a GP2X as GP2X and I will use from tomorrow my WIZ as WIZ.
oops, I didn't click the first link of ARTRAG's post in that thread :S Sorry for the dupe.
By the way, giving a Dingoo to me would be great, but not at all a guarantee to get an openMSX port on it
(Although it does increase the chances!)
If I get a free Dingoo, I can translate some Coleco games to it.
Doh!
Dingoo just got Linux in addition to it's own firmware and SDK, so porting anything to it should be a breeze.
