The popular MSX IRC channel #msxdev has moved to the Rizon network. IRC is a great way to meet people from all over the world and chat about MSX with them.

After having announced a temporary move earlier, ongoing problems have forced the #msxdev management to make the move permanent. Rizon is one of the larger worldwide IRC networks with more than 40 servers. Europeans should use irc.eu.rizon.net for a random european server. People outside of Europe can use irc.rizon.net for a location closer to them. For those without an IRC client, the Rizon website provides a Java webchat, so you can still visit #msxdev.

The main focus of #msxdev is software development, but all MSX users are free to join and chat about MSX. Visitors of #msxdev will also be kept up-to-date on the latest news from the MSX Resource Center by the channelbot MG-MRC.
