The Korean MSX user Painkilla has released a video, demonstrating an impressive Media Player running on the SD/MMC interface for MSX. The video shows an MSX2+ playing a music video from the Korean Girl band Girl's Generation.

That's interesting but I don't think that large number of views was not made by "MSX video". I guess many "Girl's generation" fans watched.

Does it work on MSX2+? The sound seems to be PCM from turboR... Does it need turboR to run? Does it run smooth on a real MSX as well? (Questions!)

Which makes me wonder, what's the bottleneck here? SD/MMC->RAM transfer speed?
