The media art site Rhizome is dedicated to the creation, presentation, preservation, and critique of emerging artistic practices that engage technology. Quite a mouth full! This week, Rhizone concentrates on demos, the phenomenon that evolved from classic game cracktros to an artform that keeps thousands of artists and programmers in shape. It prevents them from becoming lazy by opting for that new cpu before trying creative solutions to work around limitations. Today this website features some history about MSX demos in an article, in the spotlight are Bold by dvik&Joyrex and Unknown Reality, by NOP.
