MSX-BASIC instructions provided by any extension such as diskrom, expansion cartridges, etc. are forbidden.
No NestorBASIC allowed? Crap! Tongue

The entry will be sent as a .BAS file extension. Also you have to attach a complete listing of the game in a test file.
Oops! There is an unfortunate typo here. It is a TEXT file, not test (according to the spanish version of the rules).

I would suggest allowing to submit a fully commented listing in the text file, and a commentless version in the .BAS file, optimized for memory usage (you guessed it, NestorPreTer is perfect for this). Otherwise this is redundant, since MSX is perfectly capable of loading BASIC programs from plain text files.

So, you also cannot add external graphics and sounds, but it has to be just 1 BASIC listing? Seems pretty hard.

Nah, it is just the same as what we used to find in those BASIC listings on our old magazines. No external files back then but huge DATA lines. Thumbs up for the organizer of this contest, I am seriously considering to join in!

Thanks for the advice! Now it's written correctly.

Suggestion added to the rules. Certainly sending a BAS file and a TXT with the same thing was redundant Tongue So now things are as follows: A text file with the listing for exacution in MSX and text file with the listing commented by the author, so this last one can be helpful to understand the program and learn MSX-BASIC as well.

I hope you all guys participate LOL!
