MRC boss poll down, blue box poll up

We're more than two weeks into the year 2009 already, high time for a new poll! Prior to introducing the new poll, let's have a look at the outcome of the -less serious- MRC boss poll. After 38 votes, here is the result:

• ..it could only be Rikusu! 23%
• the whole crew 21%
• snout and wolf_ 15%
• wolf_ 15%
• snout 13%
• all of the Dutch crew 7%
• snout, sander and wolf_ 2%

Clearly, all our base are belong to Rikusu! There is a formal answer to this poll however, which is perhaps worthy to share. The whole crew participates into MRC, by giving opinions and advice as they wish. The admins are the ones who participate the most however, and it's also the admins who will have a large role in developing MRC2k9, the upcoming revamped version of the website you're currently looking at. Then there is the MRC-Foundation, which is currently formed by snout, wolf_ and sander. This foundation directs the global course of MRC, and the foundation members have the strongest vote in decisions. The foundation will at some point spread its wings and introduce new (related) activities, of which more information will be given when the time is right.

Fair enough. A new poll! You may recall the poll in which we asked you to choose how to write 'Turbo-R'. That poll featured all kinds of variations using capitals, spaces and dashes. In the new nearly identical poll we are going to ask you how to write the name of that transparent blue box containing an Altera FPGA chip. The box that caused quite some stir in 2004 and a bit of a deception in 2008.
