MSX Magazines poll down, 1980s poll up

For no less than three months we have been running a poll asking how you, MRC visitors, value your old MSX Magazines. Despite the long time the poll has been up, only 68 votes were cast, resulting in the following outcome:

  1. Sometimes I take such an old magazine to read (45.59%)
  2. Still have them, never read them anymore (25.00%)
  3. I don't have them anymore (20.59%)
  4. Frequently I still read them fondly (8.82%)

Altogether, a small majority still opens up an old MSX Magazine every now and then. Our new poll is a tad lighter, as all we want to know is "Apart from MSX, what do you miss most from the 1980s?" -- we're looking forward to your votes and by all means feel free to name your favorite movies, TV-series, bands or other 1980s memories in the comments. what about a poll that can help developers next time...polls able to explore matters like:
how many users do have an msx1 machine that does not support s.c. hybrid modes?
(this is useful to know if it is worth to use it in the games)
or something like:
how many users do have an msx with only one slot and do use slotexpanders?
(this is usefull to know how to support external SCC)
or else:
how many users do have an msx2 machine with 64Kb of ram ?
....
any poll above should always include the option:
"I do not care, I use games in emulators only"

...and such developer helping poll should also always have option called:

"I have MSX2 but use it only for playing MSX-1 games" Wink

Thinking about only 68 votes... until this millennium, I have had JUST ONE msx magazine ever!!!! There were just ONE msx-magazine in finland, and I got just one number, which was free copy to make it familiar to possible subscriber, never got more, my parents thought 100FIM (16,90eur) was too much to pay for such unworthy thing... for four "MSX-UUTISET" magazines/year.... that´s why I didn´t gave any vote, because of just ONE magazine.

ARTRAG you mean screen 2 table mirrors that's used in MOAM? Take a look at this: http://www.msx.org/poll57results.html
20% people own only 1 MSX, I guess for 20% of those, it's an MSX1, with about 5% chance it's one with a Toshiba VDP. oO

This would mean that the overall probability of incurring in a toshiba vdp is about 0,2%
In this case I think that moam can stay as it is...
