Right after the announcement of Italian Stallion yesterday, another entry has just been announced: the frenzy puzzlegame BeTiled!. With this entry, developer ComputerEmuzone Games Studio has announced their highly anticipated comeback to the MSX scene with this promising fresh project. The game is an MSX conversion of his recently released hit for the ZX Spectrum. But far from being a direct conversion, this MSX version will feature full SCREEN 2 graphics, sprites and support for the SCC chip. Keep an eye on this colorful game! The game will be presented as a 48kB ROM, while requiring 16kB RAM.

There are over two months left for the deadline of this popular competition. For those still working on their entry: it's just two and a half months! Those will be over before you've realized it. Stay focused, and good luck!

Maybe it is due to the lack of prizes,
no TR, no games...

about the main prize, we will announce it really soon. It is not a TR, but we hope it will be still nice.

I'm not too worried about entries. Last year a lot of entries were announced once the games were ready. So I expect more entries as we get closer to the deadline.

What does strike me however is that no high-end games have been announced yet.. like megaroms with ambitious game concepts and lotsa big/great pictures etc. Could mean two things:
- there won't be any, this year
- they won't be registered, they're submitted as they're finished, could as well be in the last week

What QuestionQuestion You don't like my Yathzee game Wink

I think there are some high end games waiting to be announced. I have for example not seen anything from Karoshi coorp, wolf_ or TNI. I'm sure there will be some high end games this year too.

Yeah wolf_, don't worry so much/no sweat... ^_^

Why the hell would people should send in (a demo of) their game way before the deadline, instead of just perfectioning it until it's done.

From what I've seen yet, considering potenital of future '07 entries, the MSX scene will be spoiled again with very nice (free) games... Wink

Looks nice. The screen is a bit crowded but that might not be a problem while playing.
