MSXdev'08 - Jury and main prize announced

News from the MSXdev organization: the jury has been announced! It's always a challenge to find a proper jury. Each year it's fun to have a totally new jury, but the members should have enough skills to be able to rate each entry and recognize all the merits the game developers have put into their entry. The jury for MSXdev'08: Takamichi Suzukawa, Enrico Barbisan and S.T.A.R.!

As for the main prize, the MSXdev team has decided to use an open PayPal system. This means that everyone can donate some money for the winning entry. As all these donations will be combined, it doesn't matter when these donations are small: every amount is welcome. At the moment, an anonymous user has opened the expected stream of donations with €60 already!

Naturally, because of the open sponsorship, you can also set a prize yourself, using your own conditions, such as best graphics, most original gameplay, etc. In all cases, contact the organization, and everything will turn out well.

plz add jury details to your website.. .. a meet 'n greet.. a who is who, a who is what, photos, gossip, where they live, what they earn ..etc. etc.

For some reason, the paypal link didn't work in Internet Explorer for me: "Pagina no encontrada", though it did work in Firefox. Could you add an English paypal link btw? I had to manually change the addressbar (paypal.com/es/..)

aww! Tested here with IE6 and Firefox and works fine, any clue? about the spanish thing I'll try to change it later to english, sorry.

I used firefox successfully. All in Spanish though but living 30 minutes from the Mexican border gives enough Spanish skills to do basic purchasing i guess

Anyway, next time it is better to do a Paypal 2 Paypal transfer, as PayPal has earned 1,37 euro from your donation for being done using a credit card: so your donation, instead of being 30 euro, is 28,63 euro. I'll update the site tomorrow, again, thank you very much!, now we have up to 228,63 euro!!!
