While the new ChoroQ Playstation 2 game is being finished, Lik Sang started selling the ChoroQ TV Game. This stand-alone TV game comes with two controllers and a base unit that holds the game. AV Cables are included. The game looks very nice. You need a TV capable of displaying NTSC signals through the A/V connectors. Selling price is $79.90.

I don't understand why somebody would be willing to pay 60+ euro for a single game gadget, if he could buy e.g. a Gamecube for only twice that amount.

As far as I know for 99 Euro you can buy a Gamecube, but that's without a game. Most games cost around 50 Euro (I think). So, if you just want a single game then something like the ChoroQ TV Game really isn't a bad deal at all. You'd have to buy between 5 and 10 GC games before you're down to the same price-per-game due to the 99 Euro investment for the GC. And yes, you could rent GC games and then you'd have to consider price-per-playday or something and then I guess it'd really depend on how often you'd play with the ChoroQ TV Game before getting bored with it...
Still, for a family looking for a nice computer game for their kiddies the 60+ Euro might not seem too bad in comparison to the 149 Euro for a GC+Game. Also remember, if they just buy the ChoroQ TV Game their kids can't nag them about buying new games for their machine, coz the machine is the game...
