Alpha Mission update

As we reported earlier, Korean MSX developer Sharksym is working on a MSX Turbo R remake of the SNK shoot'em-up Alpha Mission. The game utilizes both MSX-Audio and Moonsound/Dal So Ri for sound. According to Sharksym, the area 1 map is almost complete and the first boss will be implemented shortly. One of the key features of the game, being armor, will be implemented as well in the near future. The game looks very promising and as of today, a new preview can be downloaded here.

to be honest i'm surprised of how much cpu time takes on a R800 the game itself.
there are others games, like aleste, that run on a plain msx2 instead, very similar
what's the reason of so much cu usage?
