Konamiman has released MSX trivial dropbox, a suite of applications for accessing a Dropbox account from a MSX having networking hardware and a TCP/IP UNAPI implementation installed. These applications allow to manage the account contents (get directory listings and copy, move, delete, rename files and directories) as well as to upload and download files and groups of files.

Dropbox is a well known online storage service that offers both free and paid plans. The free plan provides 2GB of file storage space, more than enough for backing up our MSX files for most of us. As a bonus, version 1.1 of HGET, the HTTP file download utility, is available as well. This version corrects some minor bugs from version 1.0.

I do read posts! And it's only a slight bit bigger than our small posts, 20 seconds reading time.. something like that.

Just kidding. Well, now let's see if someone writes a reaction concerning the application itself. Smile

It seems that I mistakenly included quotes when writing the second instance of the Dropbox URL. Super-fast admin, please correct it! Tongue

Ouch.. here's what *may* have been happening: I receive a lot of alert mails when a website changes (kinda like RSS), sometimes whole pages o' email when I haven't checked for a period. I tend to not even click those alerts anymore and when things move to older pages you can't wipe those emails from the first page. It could be that your email is somewhere there too, unseen.. but.. do send again plz Tongue

Ok, you have got mail.

@Sd-Snatcher: Not a INL application but a TCP/IP UNAPI application (subtle difference) Smile

I think almost no one has networking hardware yet, so don't expect too many on topic reactions.

You can test it with blueMSX's ethernet emulation. I am a Dropbox Pro user (50 GB) so I'm so happy so see this tool for MSX! Smile
