Pepper 2 by GDX

Three years ago two coversions of ColecoVision games to MSX were released by muffie. One of these games was Pepper 2, a maze game originally released in 1983 by a company called Exidy.

Now, a new MSX version of Pepper 2 has been released by GDX. This edition is based on the Mission emulator, and offers SCC sound support and improved support for keyboard and joystick.

In 2008, Muffie has made a first conversion, that keeps MSX1 colors on MSX2 and higher. A version on cartridge with manual was planned, but it is currently blocked by some strange attitudes in the MSX universe.

Very nice, and the SCC sound allows more the sound to be more faithful to the original.

A little tip: the port currently don't pass either the MSX Acid1Test or Acid2Test. This means it can have problems to run on some MSX machines.

If I remember correctly, I mean, Muffie might have told me, the problem on the sound conversion was related with the noise generator.
