In the USA everything is bigger, including Vampier's appetite for gaming. Ever since openMSX has a reverse feature, recording games seems to be his core business. During the last week he made crystal clear videos of the following games:

Unfortunately R-Type has been recorded without FM-PAC/MSX-MUSIC.

That's probably because you used a machine with a built in fm-pac. R-Type only recognizes external fm-pacs...

That is, if memory serves me well...

I couldn't get the FM-PAC to work

La long time ago I released a patch to fix the FM and MSX2 detection. Try it! :)

@SD_Snatcher: I tried your patch and everything works except for the MSX Music. I even used the -askall option to make sure it patched the msx music option as well. Did I do something wrong?

IIRC Martos made a version of R-Type without slow downs on TurboR machines and with internal FM-PAC detection.
