Becky English translation

Becky-chan, the coolest tomboy on the block, just had her game translated by hap and Rikusu. It's a simple 1983 platform game similar to Lode Runner, but unlike that classic, not worth playing unless you're an Audrey Tautou fan.

The patch can be obtained from hap's website, which has recently been relocated to http://tsk-tsk.net/.

"it" being what? the website or the translation patch?

*edit* if the latter:If the game detects a Japanese BIOS (that includes the turboR), messages remain untranslated.

LOL Luckily nobody uses Japanese MSX models outside Japan any more.........

Nice. Now hap and rikusu have very small job to do to finish their translation. Just patch every Becky cartridge owners´ Becky cartridge too. Or otherwise my cartridge will show graphical mess in title screen forever.

What the heck....? Why not worth playing? It´s good MSX version of numerous dig-a-hole-wait-and-hope-enemy-will-fall-into-it-before-they-catch-you-and-then-quickly-fill-a-hole-before-enemy-climbs-up games. But as you compared it to Lode Runner... there´s no idea to compare different style games this way.

Funny... I did forget about this, so at first I was quite surprised to see my name in this newspost .

Anyway, nice to see it's actually released! Too lazy to test it though.

I checked Becky´s screenshot.... hmmm... so it´s a translation? But there reads Becky-CHAN? That´s not translation me thinks! Maybe just "Becky" could have been better in ENGLISH translation. But I don´t mind.
