CheatMSX - Undeadline map | MSX Resource Center

It's been a while since we heard from map regular MSX Solutions, and some people may get a bit nervous from this lack of maps in recent months. It's almost like smokers missing their daily shot of nicotine! But, have no fear, JohnHassink is here! JohnHassink spent some of his spare time on the creation of a map of the 1989 shoot 'm up Undeadline, by T&E Soft (now D-Wonderland). The map, an enormous image, shows the game's fine graphical qualities. Now, off you go, to CheatMSX, where the map can be found!

Probably not everyone knows, and it's not explained on the map:

Every fairy collected (max. 3 in each stage) represents 1 EXP point.

After beating the stage and selecting the next one, you get the "Parameter Set".

Here you can trade EXP to raise your stats (STrength, Magic Points, DeXterity and AGility) before going to the next stage.

If I'm not mistaken, physical weapons (Axe, Knives, Boomerang) rely on ST; magic-based weapons (Golem, Ice and Fire) on MP.

DX is for taking hits.

AG is your speed; crucial for getting some of the fairies.
If you give your Ninja's AG a nice raise, you can easily jump from one side of the screen to another!

How many points you can add depends on the stat and your class.

Obviously, you can give your Fighter the Axe on max. capacity and totally blow his ST out of the roof.
You'll rip through most things.

In the Cavern, do not use Ice on max. capacity; you can't destroy the gates with that, meaning that you will get crushed.
