Karoshi ends cooperation

One of the leading teams in MSX1 development, Karoshi, has decided to end the common objectives. The people behind Karoshi, pitpan and viejo_archivero, go their own ways from now on.

Both founders of the team, which brought us regular high-quality entries for the yearly MSXdev competition, got involved with their own projects and after a period of reflection they decided to end their cooperation. Both members will remain to be involved in projects where they can, but not together anymore. The Karoshi-brand will be kept alive by pitpan, while viejo_archivero will continue to administrate the Karoshi forum.

So luckily there's not much damage done to the scene, as both members continue to focus on MSX1 development, but 'Karoshi' as a household name for the yearly MSXdev contributions will be no more.

No problem at all: viejo_archivero and I will continue developing MSX software. It was a matter of reorganizing tasks and now it has been done. So do not expect substantial changes regarding the concept: good old retro games.

...I actually shouted "FUCK!!!"* when I read the headline, but it's good to see that the title is mildly misleading.

(* not 100% true, I shouted something in Dutch which pretty much corresponds with that)

Sad to hear Karoshi is no longer. But good that both members will continue to code for MSX in the future. Does this mean that the former Karoshi projects under development are all put on ice?
