Almost four years after the previous release, Yeongman Seo brings us a new version of paraMSX. New in release 0.48b:

Several minor bug-fixes
Added MMC/SD disk interface emulation

ParaMSX is a Windows port of fMSX, making use of DirectX for better performance and emulating some features specific to korean MSX models. ParaMSX 0.46b ranked fifth in our MRC EmuRank Charts. You can download the emulator from the paraMSX website.

Anyway, it's not really a good idea to refer to a 3 year old comparison... it's quite outdated now, I guess. OTOH, maybe the rank hasn't changed much?

AuroraMSX: heh, I didn't know you actually ran Windows seriously

(fMSX was my emulator before going/joining openMSX... I think we even used fMSX to test our game until openMSX got VDP timing implemented.)

I received WinMe with my PC back in 2001 and often booted back and forth between Win and Linux in ye olde days.

I liked ParaMSX a lot back then as well.
