Unfortunaly I couldnt make it, since my computer's ATX power supply was burnt due to power surges, thanks to brazilian's power company "light"; So the money I had to go to the meeting, will have to be used to get a new PSU :(

But I told that in the MSX-RJ list two days before the meeting (the day my PSU died), so you already knew that, and knew that I wasnt going to make it :...

1chipMSX resurrection guide added to articles

You could indeed do that easy enough by adding a pulldown resistor to the OE pins and add a switch to the Vcc. There may actually be a pin in the parallel port which is put high when the programming starts. In that case you wouldn't even need the switch. But you'd need to do some research to find out if that's the case....

Which is the best MSX demo ever?

even large scaled open polls don't mean they can't be rigged... a dutch website geenstijl.nl proved that by asking it's readers to massively vote for the name 'geenstijl' when Doritos was deciding what the new flavor of their dorito's should be called in a public vote. They won by a landslide...

(same can be applied for imdb ratings.... many people voting either 1 or 10 to 'c...

I've been out for some time and I couldn't try the game until now :)

Overall it's a nice game... it clearly looks as it has a lot of work behind and there are some very nice and polished details (although there are some others that aren't) . I think its strong points are music and ambientation but, as some people already said, it needs some improvement at sprites design and a...

Drag'n drop from finder will appear one day. Perhaps at least :D

Concerning pls list, I was, with Richard Bannister asking for this feature but when I discover the way it works I just decided to do not use it.
Why, simply because I just don't like pls compared to m3u files.
Most of the people, including me, find easier to create a m3u files.

openMSX on Wii

There are no Wii Linux drivers for the wiimote yet, so at the moment a GameCube controller is the only way to play. It is likely though that in the future wiimote support will be added. Also USB support might be possible in the future.

There is a test version of a homebrew channel out, it is possible Linux+openMSX could be started from there. However, this channel relies on a...
