"Why MSX?" - Poll results

In our most recent poll we asked "Why MSX?". 164 people found the time to think about this abstract question and gave their votes. Here's the results:

Today, MSX Resource Center proudly welcomed the 1,000,000th visitor since August 6th, 1996. Yes, you have read it right: Only six months after we reached 500,000 visitors our Nedstat Counter registered the millionth visit to our website.

It goes without saying that 2003 was a good year for the MSX Community. It has been a long time since we had so many new hardware and software products in one year. And then there were the revival-activities in Japan and the many activities of (ex) MSX users on the internet.

Regular visitors of the MSX Resource Center already know 2003 is a very good year for the MSX Resource Center. Never before did we have so many news posts, so many visitors, so many new features and... so many forum posts. As a comparison, you can view some 2002 statistics.

Yup, you have read it correctly: another MRC milestone. For the first time in history no less than 100 newsposts were posted within one single month, making March 2005 the most active MSX News month on the MRC ever.

Ricardo Bittencourt and Cyberknight submitted the 10th entry to the Under Water Challenge: a port of the classic SEGA Arcade game N-Sub. This version was ported from SG-1000 to MSX.
