The Hound was the alias for John Robin Smith, who was mainly active as a freelance artist in the MSX-scene. He did many graphics for Fuzzy Logic amongst others. After quiting the MSX-Scene John Robin hooked up with programmer Jan van Valburg to work on developing games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Although the prototype of their first game (a Vampire Killer type game) was very promising, the game was never released and soon after Jan van Valburg was hired by a video game development company in the United Kingdom.
