I'd be interested to know what the MSX Händlergemeinschaft is, of which is spoken in MSX Computerclub Süd of 2/91. And what Gerd Pepela's relation is to it. AFAIK Gerd later started MSX Contakt, right?

Yes, thats right. Gerd was one of three dealers besides F. Hein in Radolfzell and Alfred Steiner from Austria.
Reason why they gathered forces was clear. they wanted to share the marked and trade with bigger marges. Michi told me ones the planned to import tRs and spread them together with v9900, Moonsound and WiOS as high end machines.
Sad story at the end, like HSH there was a lot of bad agreements, promises and misbehaviour between the members.
I'm not sure if Gerd Pepala was involved. Gerd was VisdP of MSX.

If i remember correctly, theMSX Händlergemeinschaft was a cooperation between providers from germany, switzerland and denmark. They sold software and hardware. And yes, Gerd Pepela tried again in the early nineties to sell a German-language MSX magazine. I liked it a lot at the time, so I subscribed to it. Unfortunately I don't have an issue anymore. A few years ago mice destroyed not only my Turbo-R, but also all hardware, books and magazines.

I heard about your dangerous mice plague.
I still have some MSX Contact but I can't manage it to scan them properly at the moment.
It was one of the last possibilities to get informations about MSX in Germany. Gerd was also involved in managing meetings in Ulm. I once visited a fair then. I guess this was biggest meeting in Germany at its time. But talking about 30 users means much.

I hope that one day you will have time to scan some issues. I had also written a couple of articles in the magazine at the time. The "msx news from japan" for example Smile

Much fun here on forum64 MSX section although it seems I'm the only one talking MSX. There are a few Commies wondering what I'm doing. So if you are a German MSX user, come on over and help me! Smile

Alright, I got myself a couple of MSX-Contakt magazines and tried to read them... as some readers wrote, there's a lot of complaining in it that the scene is getting smaller, no hardware or software comes out, amount of readers is decreasing etc. And a lot of desperate attempts to try to change that.

But also, I get the impression that there was some productions from these clubs that may not have been preserved so far... Who can tell me if there's still anything left of:
- Kakisoft software productions (by Peter Nielsen), like MSX Window's and some applications like Uni-Text, WINDOW-OFFICE Datei/Text.
- Productions by GmbH (Hamburg MSX association) and/or MSX/SVI-Club, by people like Lasse Assebasse (Lars Aschenbach), Thorsten Lührig, Herbert Kloseck. I see products named "Infosat #1", Galactic Empire (even a part 2 was developed?), Kaiser, SDCMON, SRAMMON, GAMEGIRL demo
- The game B199 by B. Brandt.
- Productions by Jan Kimpflinger (a.k.a. GOLD-Soft Enterprises). I could only find the Hint-Hunt disks part 1 and 2, but apparently more have appeared (parts 3 and 4 have been mentioned). And there is apparently something like the Stoned Again series.
- Productions by Schippsoft (Peter Schippmann); I only found Mahjongg

I added a tiny bit of this to Generation-MSX... but can you German folks enlighten us on what this all is?

In older German MSX magazines I also saw many advertisements of "Van der Zalm" software.... are these preserved somewhere?
