Is it possible to use the detachable keyboard from the Philips NMS-8250 together with my OneChip MSX? If not, what USB keyboard should I get for the OCM? I would like something compact, black and looking like it was designed for the Sony line of MSX computers.

The USB part would have to be coded by someone, PS/2 works though. As long as PS/2 keyboards are available there's probably not much of an incentive to support USB keyboards, thus creating USB vhdl.

No, NMS keyboard does not work with OCM.

Lately I've been using this keyboard (awful to use, but fits nicely to OCM look)

Now I'm planning to upgrade to this more environment friendly version.

(USB keyboards work fine with USB->PS/2 converter)

mm.. some while ago I asked around regarding those USB->PS/2 converters. Would they work with a USB KVM switch? As in: a normal USB keyboard going to a KVM switch, with my PC's and my 1cM connected to it. USB output going through a USB-PS/2-converter.. would all that work?

@wolf: I don't see any reason why it should not work...

BTW my USB->PS/2 converter is meant to be used with mouse, but for some reason (that I don't understand) it seems to work fine.

NYYRIKKI: because with KVM comes switchting. Now, USB may be switched on the fly, but for PS/2 you'd better turn off your equipment first. It could very well be that contemporary stuff can be hotswitched as well as far as the PS/2 is concerned, but I'm not sure the 1cM is that comtemporary..
