Sorry for waking up a sleeping thread, but did you put the same transformer in your WX? I was told that was impossible, and I believed it.

@Meits Yes, I modded the WX. It worked. Don't use the WX often so not sure how durable it is. It worked fine last time I used it.

I'm thinking of modding a (few) of my 2+es. Just not sure... I'm planning to make two 100V outlets in my desk for sure... But those can not accomodate all machines...
I was told it was not going to work with that Conrad transformer cuz it lacked a lead which was not used in turbo R. Seems to be there, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get it to work... And those transformers are quite a bit stronger than what came out of it... I wouldn't be afraid it's gonna give up if it works
