How to obtain a ".BIN" File from a ".ROM" File

Hello,

I have a ROM File with the English versión of the Cartridge "TURBO 5000". I'd like to obtain a ".BIN" File in order to make a ".DSK" image but I have no idea how to make it.

Googling for msxr2b is freeware.
Then at DOS prompt give:
MSXR2B romfile.rom
It will create a file with the same name but with a BIN suffix. For ROM 8K and 16K creates a file, for ROM 32K creates 2 files, for larger ROM unfortunately we can not have such a conversion since they do not fit into RAM.

Hello bakoulis,

I have just tried this (I had it done before), but it doesn't work. It creates 2 Files, I load them with BLOAD"CAS:¨,R but the Program doesn't load correctly. I see the title of the Program on the Screen but the Program doesn't load correctly. :-(

Talking about Turbo 5000... I tried to use that program to save a high speed recording of a bloadable file (I took some old crack of Athletic Land). Loading the file from tape works fine but when I try to save... the program just goes bananas after typing in the baudrate. I first tried high numbers like 4000, but even 2400 gave the same behaviour...

Was someone ever able to save with Turbo 5000 to higher baudrates?

Oh, I did all of this on openMSX... FWIW.

For 2 files, the command is:
BLOAD"cas:",R: BLOAD"cas:",R

Hello,

yes @bakoulis: I used twice the command: BLOAD"CAS:",R but the Program doesn't Load correctly. I think perhaps could be a proble with the Execution Address. :-(
