Yes, JAM made a conversion from tape to ROM and it worked perfect in my turboR. In fact, he converted some games to get them smoother thanks to R800 (Head over Heels and others).
They were online long time ago, but I don't know if they are lately. I don't remember if they are in my last Legacy compilation (v6.0 or so), but I remember that it was shared too. It was online in msx-land website, but it is not online either anymore... :/
This game rocks, btw.
Edit: I thougt that JAM added ASCII mapper then it was Padial's Flash compatible, so it can help you.
If I am right, you should delete line 10 in the listing (or at least remove the OUT 168,240). Port 168 (=&hA8) is the primary slot select register.
A friend sent me the directory listing from the mentioned "MSX Legacy CD" (version 6.something), but there's no Auf Monty in there
too bad, since the game is soooo cool... well at least I have the song recorded in CD directly from a real MSX
It is included in MSX Legacy 6 and seems to work in turbo R. You can find it in GAMEDISK\COLLECT\MSXCOLL.5_7
Then my friend have a different MSX Legacy hehehehe, because his listing does not have a folder GAMEDISK
Ok, now I'm trying to make a ROM file myself...
I first altered RedMSX to save all RAM content to a file; then I started it and loaded auf monty (removing the ",R" from the last bloadable file) and finally I saved the RAM to a 64k file.
After loading, doing in basic DEFUSR=&H8700:A=USR(0) starts the game (on the emulator). Now I dont know how can I convert this RAM image to a ROM file... any hints?

Legacy v6.0 had a problem since JAM's HD crashed before it was finished and some stuff had to be recovered from an older version. So some texts with contents miss some information about the CD.
Guillian's version could be the one which was shared some time ago or my own version... so it could have more stuff since I updated it in my HD. I could not check it yet, since my desktop computer won't boot... I will connect its HD to my laptop soon.
Slotman: note that you can do the same in openMSX with:
save_debuggable memory myRAM.bin
in the console. (No need to alter MSX emulators for that... )
Back again.
I've checked it and it is not in ROM format in MSX Legacy. I have it since JAM made a cracked rom version to make easier the map captures for call MSX. Anyways, I've found it and it works in openMSX emulating turboR (hey, I bought this one original in Tape when I was a child, so I am not a pirate! )
The enemies killed me so it must be a previous version of the "cracked" version. This game rocks.
