I'm 100% sure. Smartboy and koedori are the same Check the box art. +Game descriptions. It's a perfect match.

I must say the the game looks good, but WTF is that music!? Oh, how bad the music is... Oh, the music is SO bad... Oh, it is so horrible FM-crap... My ears still hurt and I'm traumatized.

This seems to be one of those games that are "so close to good", but horribly wrong...

The music is not so terribly bad as just terribly, terribly unfitting for a shmup...

Btw. did anyone ever play that game beyond the 5th mission and succeeded in changing to disk 3? The game just crashed for me in all emulators (same with the [a] images).

Is this game for msx2 or msx2+ ? there is horizontal smooth scrolling, and the second stage appears to be in screen 5...
Or i'm wrong?

First stage had to be sc5 as well. Which is not really a problem, Manbow2 did that as well. Anyway, it looks like the scroll engine is better than the rest of the game.
