Great, I love Gekitotsu Pennant Race 2's soundtrack. Thank you very much!
I'm not sure about the game's title, though... Where did "The Pro Baseball" came from? Perhaps you're mixing up with Sega's The Pro Yakyuu - Pennant Race or Namco's Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium Pennant Race? And I don't think you should translate "Gekitotsu" since the game doesn't have an official English name.
Clash Pennant Race 2 (MSX2) is also finished.
Very good work, all these contributions are incredible, thank you very much sdsnatcher73.
One of the fabulous BSO in my opinion is Rune Worth, maybe you are interested in converting it to vgm.
thank you very much for this great job
Sky Jaguar (MSX, PSG) was missing tags and has been updated.
New packs:
Konami's Ping Pong (MSX, PSG)
Konami's Ping Pong (MSX, SCC-I)
Game Master 2 (MSX)
btw pretty nice my script is being used. We need more MSX music on vgmrips.net. :) An online archive with webplayer of all those great music disks is still in the back of my mind as well. Vgmrips is just for games. If I had the time and energy I think it would even be possible to make a webplayer that can make audio right out of the original music files... transpile all those nice tools to webassembly... mbm2kss -> kss2vgm -> vgm web player, or mbm2kss -> kss2wav. for FAC Soundtracker mus2kss could be used (mus2kss).
PlayMOD comes pretty close to that vision and already supports both vgmrips and modland, two of the biggest repositories of video game and chiptune music out there. One could argue both for and against some of the chosen replayers (due to their flaws) and, almost as expected, aside from game rips MSX isn't well represented. There's so much scene music which could find a home on modland, but who has the time for that? oO

I didn't know the site, nice! As you said it has issues with the players but it sure has a lot! I'm thinking about a more dedicated site with a higher usability. Some dreaming: select based on year, sound chip, tracker or demo group. Then get a list with disk/player logo and name, then click and have a nice webbased player showing the tracks etc. I can make some code that generates that automatically based on input txt files. However most of the work would be in getting the actual music files out of the disks and have a webbased player for it. Obviously it could be all converted to MP3, but that's not the real thing to me.
The Tower of Gazzel (MSX2, PSG+OPLL) has been reloaded using MicroMusic 3.2 (which is still in the making). It uses the games internal replayer code and I do believe this is a bit more true to the original. Let me know if you find any issues. I also added the PSG+OPLL indication because I will also start logging the PSG only soundtrack for the MicroCabin games to vgm...
Neat! I like the attention to detail , and those PSG packs are going to be pretty sweet as well.
Don't these Microcabin games have a sound mode in which you can play all sound tracks? That would be perfect to record the music exactly as intended.... right?
