I do love puzzle games, because they are based in really simple ideas but they are incredibly addictive, and I am wondering which titles do you like the most.
I will post here my favourite games, indicating if there is or not an MSX version. Perhaps it will be good to convert some of them to the MSX system! They do not need huge processing speed, and gameplay is really high.

-Tetris, of course, with thousand versions (MSX, MSX2)
-Puyo Puyo (MSX2)
-Columns (MSX2)
-Guru Logic (MSX2 version by Teddywarez)
-Puzzle Bobble (MSX2 version, "Bubble Rain" by IMANOK)
-Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo (Capcom for PSX)
-Money Idol Exchanger (NeoGeo)
-Dr. Mario (NES, SNES, GB)

There are lots of them!

One game I always liked (on Mac) is Chiral, would be nice to see a MSX port:

And outside of this category... what about a port of Carmen SanDiego? I'm sure this could be done fairly easy on MSX?

Carmen SanDiego? I know they've made an animated television series of that, but I never knew there was a game of it either. I did like the series btw.

Hmm. Tetris II had a nice graphics/sfx but I think the game is not 'playable' enough.

I prefer Ark-a-noah by Matra. Nice colors and pattern effects, great sounds, and 'adictive' playing.

I also enjoy playing Tetris by Zemina and Flash Point (a complex Tetris-alike game), both for MSX1.

Another great game is the Puzznic for MSX1. It would be nice if someone made a MSX2 version of Puzznic..... Wink

Is there a Puzznic version for MSX1? I didn't know that! Please excuse my ignorance...
Is it a japanese ROM or a european tape game? I need to know more!

Ah! And what about a well-done KLAX version?

It's a korean version. There is a MSX1 korean clone of Columns as well.

And just a interesting thing: that Columns for MSX1 includes inside another Tetris game ^_^

As I remember, the Tetris versions made in Korea for the MSX1 are (at least):

-Tetris (with the music of Usas)
-Flash Point
-FA Tetris (very nice, good animations)
-Tetris (the one inside the Columns clone)

All of them are 32K sized ROMs (of course! Wink )
