On the front of the MNS8280 there are sliding levers:
DIGITAL LEVEL from LOW to HI
AUDIO MIX from EXT to INT
VIDEO MIX from EXT to GRAPHICS
I put the NEMESIS2 cartridge back into slot1, turned on the TV monitor, moved the levers, but I can't hear any audio ..
On the back of the MNS8280 there is a switch where it says VIDEO. LUM. Unfortunately I can't post any photos taken in the chat.

I moved the EXT <-> GRAPHICS slider to the graphics, but I don't hear any audio out. there are two more DIGITAL LEVEL and AUDIO MIX sliders.
At the moment I only connected the rear AUDIO OUT L / R connectors of the MSX2 via RCA cables to the AUDIO IN L / R connectors of the TV monitor, but no audio is heard in the TV ...

Check Jipe's hint. If you can't get video from any connector it could be that the top board is not (correctly) connected to the mainboard.
Do you have a soundcard with its own audio jack? If you have an FM-PAC with audio jack you could start a game that autoruns and will play FM-PAC music. Then check if audio comes from the FM-PAC by connecting the FM-PAC's audio jack to a headphone or amplifier.
Edit: That's only to check if the rest of the computer runs fine, but that was already aparent since the diskdrive does spin.
So this test doesn't help you any further.

I think the best thing you could do is find yourself a box and a lot of padding and send it to someone who can repair it for you. Be aware that the front panel is very brittle. If the computer shifts in the box its weight might very well crush the front panel. Better disconnect the frontpannel and pack it safely away from the rest of the computer. There are some repairmen here in the Netherlands, at least who I know of. Maybe you have a few in Italy as well.

Thanks Meits, I don't know any official MSX2 repairers in Italy. I will try to take it to a friend who has electronic equipment to check the connectors of the scart socket. Can you see the image linked above?
In my opinion, without the top cover, the contacts of the scart that is fixed to the rear panel are stressed, without the top cover the bottom panel tends to flex a little.

If you do not get a signal from any of the outputs, I doubt just the scart connector hangs loose. However, it's never a bad thing to resolder the contacts because fresh is always better.
If the computer works well but no audio/video output either the top board is not connected or there's a defect on it.
Guys like Repair-Bas have dealt with those issues since the early nineties and I bet he lost count in how many of those machines he resqued. I know shipping is not cheap but I would consider it.

Who is this Repair-Bas? Is it located in the netherlands? How much can the check and repair cost?
do you know someone similar in Italy? I had read that these machines should also remove the battery of the clock, is that true? Thanks

Bas is the first one who replied to your forum post. He's repaired MSX machines like forever and to the general public it looks like he's quite fond of Philips in general (that's the guy). He lives in the Netherlands. It might be a couple of euros more in shipping, but at least you know the machine goes to someone who knows what he does.
