8 years ago I started coding for a reason. That reason was because there where a few games that where released on platforms that I could not afford and when they where released on our beloved MSX they sucked! The disappointment was beyond believe. I learned to code and 2 years later I started a journey to build a game that is the port of a behemoth that is now about 1,8 million lines of code. It took me 6 years of active development and well over 8 years in total of learning developing and growing. I had much resistance. I learned about jealousy and other fallacies of what we are. I managed to team up with the best and we almost gave up but persistence is the key. I won. 6 years ago I made you all a promise. Only death would stop me. Ironically I nearly died twice and not even death could stop me.
As of writing the project has already arrived in many of you mailboxes as hosting is to say the least difficult. It is 200% freeware. Spread it and do whatever you can with it. Mod it, change it, maybe port it to gfx9000? The source is spread to many places.
Some of you will not have a clue whats going on and some of you know exactly what I am talking about here. It should have all happened on the first of may but I no longer can hold myself to present you with this awesome gift.
Now please be a little bit careful so don't post links to this tread on the known social media. However when you receive a copy of the game, pass it on and spread it! It is of my hands now. You are now free to do whatever you like with it.
I want to express my utter gratitude towards a few people and most probably miss a few names but I remember you all.
Norakomi, Grauw, Poesje, Hydragon, Supersoniqs, Nyyrriki, Artrag, msx.org, Meits, Snout, Sander, SDsnatcher (both of you), Guillian, Pencioner, RBSC and many more names and teams. You made this possible on MSX.
Newposts will propably appear. In the meanwhile the behemoth will quickly spread around the world.
Enjoy playing that game my fellow MSXers. I enjoyed making it and I now never want to see it ever again
