This useful frontend for NLMSX had a huge revision lately, causing quite some errors for many users. After some testing and debugging a new version was released.

Thanks to Okei, a new patch for the rom Game Master 2 is available. Now you can use your Mega Flash ROM SRAM like the original cartridge, making combinations and/or saving into its SRAM.

Also, some days ago, Guillian made a new version of Metal Gear to save into flash memory (don't need SRAM).

As we reported earlier, the march issue of the Japanese BASIC magazine contains a program for MSX BASIC. The code published is that of a little shoot-em-up game, Wing Lancer. It can be downloaded on the Basic magazine website for free here

FAT16 patch for MSX-DOS 2.41

A while ago, Okei created an updated version of her FAT16 patch for DOS 2.xx. This new version also supported MSX-DOS versions 2.40 and 2.41. Now that COMMAND 2.41 has become freeware, the time has come to release this patch as well.

Three days ago, a new version of VisualMSX was released with lots of changes and optimizations. Unfortunately, a version loaded with bugs hit the web that day. In the new version - released today - it's actually possible to start NLMSX and run a game again ;).

Hot numbers, a game programmed by msxkun is going to be avaiable on the next MadriSX Meeting. Hot numbers is a puzzle game with 32 levels for MSX2 or higher with 128KB of RAM and a double density disk drive. Here you can download a playable demo of the game.

Opl4 Wave Editor

Marcel Delorme let us know he updated the opl4 Wave editor a little and put it online. With this tool it's possible to edit samples on an MSX with a graphical view of the sample.

It's only possible to load mtn files at this moment, and there is no save option yet.
