A new version of the unofficial Windows port of openMSX was released today. It's based on the 0.3.2 linux release which was released yesterday.

Since a few weeks, there is a special mailinglist for users of openMSX, both the Linux and the Windows version. You can use this mailinglist to discuss your problems, ideas and share experiences with other users. Most developers are also subscribed, so they can be of help too, when necessary.

Today a new version of openMSX was released. This is the source/Linux release, you can probably expect a Windows binary from Reikan to follow soon. The most striking new feature is MoonSound support. We got permission to use the MAME OPL4 code, which saved us a tremendous amount of work.

On february 20th we introduced the donation service which allowed MSX Resource Center fans to send us a financial contribution. THe MSX Resource Center foundation uses these donations to pay for the increasing costs of hosting our website, for visiting fairs and - if possible - to support MSX Related projects.

In July 2003 Irem are to release a new version of the popular arcade game R-Type. As can be seen on the Official R-Type website, this 1987 arcade hit was ported to MSX in december 1988.

Thanks to the new songs on DrMSX we could add another link to our links database. Halbon has made several songs on MSX, and offers them on his website in MPK and WMA format.
